Bespoke Fashion Design Studio

Where Fabric Becomes a Portrait of Who You Are

Each garment we create begins with a single truth: no two people are alike. We design custom dresses, gowns, and bridal wear from scratch — built to your measurements, your vision, your story.

Our Philosophy

Fashion Is Not What You Wear. It Is What You Mean.

At Lumi & Lace, we believe every person has a style story waiting to be told — and it should be told in a language entirely their own. We listen before we sketch. We study before we cut. We craft before we fit.

Founded in Flowood, Mississippi, our studio has built a reputation for garments that transcend trend — pieces that belong to you the way a signature belongs to a letter.

How We Work

Four Steps. One Garment. Entirely Yours.

01

Discovery Consultation

We meet — in person or virtually — to understand your occasion, vision, and measurements. Every garment begins here, not at a sewing machine.

02

Sketch & Fabric Selection

We translate your ideas into original fashion sketches and present fabric options — textures, weights, colors — until the direction feels right.

03

Craft & Fitting Sessions

The garment is hand-cut and constructed through multiple fittings, adjusted to your exact body — not a standard size.

04

Final Delivery

Your piece is delivered with care instructions, a sketch record, and a fitting guarantee. We call it done when you feel perfect.

“She didn't just make me a dress. She made me understand my own shape for the first time — and I have never felt more myself.”

— Camille R., Bridal Client, Flowood MS

She didn't just make me a dress. She made me understand my own shape for the first time — and I have never felt more myself.

Camille R.

Bridal Client · Flowood, MS

I needed a suit for my daughter's wedding — something that actually fit me, not a box. They built me something I'll wear for the rest of my life.

Bespoke Suit · Father of the Bride

I described a vague idea — 'romantic, with sleeves, champagne' — and they produced a sketch that looked like it had been inside my head.

The Designer

Rosa Vanessa Robles Ortega

I started sewing at 12 with my grandmother's machine in a small room in Flowood. Twenty years later, that same love of fabric, form, and fit drives every piece I create.

My training spans pattern drafting, couture tailoring, and bridal design. But my craft comes from something simpler: I believe how you dress is how you show up for your own life.
